Babbly

Project Leader: Glynnis DuBois

Project Description: We are so excited to be working on our artificial intelligence app, Babbly! The main goal of this validation study is to use an iterative method of 'teaching' – the app – to code various types of babbling and vocalizations of babies based on manual coding by a human assessor. We are also interested in the possible differences between babbling patterns of bilingual and multilingual babies.

Interested in helping us test the Babbly app?

If you have a baby between the ages of 3 and 18 months and are interested in signing them up to participate in the Babbly project, please email Glynnis DuBois at glynnis.dubois@mail.utoronto.ca. We would ask that you send at least 3 10-minute video recordings of you interacting with your baby. Participants will be given monetary compensation ($30) for their time.
