Online Voices

Project Team: Christine Muscat and Alisha Suri

Project Description: The main purpose of the Online Voices study is to better understand the relationship between language and voice in monolingual and bilingual speakers. More specifically, the study investigates how monolingual and bilingual listeners associate language to various voices, when presented with an auditory cue (i.e., a voice) without a visual cue (i.e., a face). This study is conducted entirely online through the administration of a familiarization phase followed by a test phase.

Are you a Canadian college/university student between the ages of 18 and 25?

We are currently recruiting monolingual and bilingual adults across Canada to participate in this study. Sign up here or email alisha.suri@mail.toronto.ca to learn more!
